How amazing that a school like ours, with just above 200 students, raised $20,700 from just ONE fundraiser! The annual “Fun Run”, held on May 2, 2014, was an overwhelming success! We doubled our 2013 amount from $10,000 to $20,700. The weather was great for a day of students running laps and becoming more physically fit.
What are we going to buy? Essential classroom materials and items to create a new outdoor classroom. We’ll also fund next year’s field trips, enrichment programs, and other PTA initiatives. As the school grows, resources are needed to allow more children within central Prince George’s County to share the Montessori experience.
